       We only source our DMSO from the USA. Most of our competitors don't state where their DMSO is sourced from. They don't mention it for good reason, because they don't want you to know that their product comes from China. The USA is where the purest grade DMSO comes from. DMSO sourced from China is far cheaper, but can be contaminated with Acetone or other chemicals & is usually NOT true pharmaceutical grade.

      Although many of our competitors 'claim' their products are pharmaceutical grade, can the seller supply any certification confirming this? Unless they can supply certification, it is probably NOT pharma grade, & more likely technical or industrial grade.

Anti Tamper Safety Seal fitted?

      Some of our competitor's products lack any form of anti-tamper safety seal, so there is no way of telling if the bottle has been tampered with, contaminated, or diluted before receiving it. If there is no anti-tamper safety seal on the bottle you have purchased, there are 2 possible reasons:  

1. The anti-tamper seal has been removed, which means the bottle has been tampered with.

2. No anti-tamper seal was fitted in the 1st place. Common with industrial grade or home bottled DMSO.

Questions & Answers Regarding Our DMSO:

 

Q. My DMSO arrived frozen. How do I safely thaw it out?

 

A. Very pure DMSO that is undiluted with water freezes at temperatures below 17.8 deg C. It is common in winter time for the DMSO to freeze during transport.

Please follow these instructions to thaw your DMSO quickly -

  •  Place Container of DMSO in Hot (NOT boiling) tap water.
  •  To avoid ruining the label place in a zip bag so no water touches it
  •  Do not heat the DMSO above 44 deg C.
  •  After a few hours You will start to see the DMSO turn back into a liquid.
  •  DO NOT MICROWAVE THE DMSO CONTAINER!
  • An alternative method, if you are in no hurry. is just to store the bottle at a temperature above 20 deg C, & it will eventually thaw on its own (this method can take several days).
  • To prevent your DMSO from re-freezing, store in a warm place away from direct sunlight. The addition of a small amount of distilled or demineralised water will also lower the freezing point.

Q. If your DMSO is pharmaceutical grade, why do you state that the product is intended for use as a solvent only?

 

A. In order to comply with Australian regulations, we do not, & can not by law, make any claims or recommendations regarding the therapeutic use of this product. The regulations in Australia mean we can sell the product as a solvent only. What the end user chooses to do with the product after purchase is up to themselves. We also recommend that any treatment is done in consultation with a licensed medical practitioner. Sellers who DO make therapeutic claims regarding this product are breaking the law, & can face heavy penalties if reported to the TGA.


Q. What is DMSO?

 

A. Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) is a chemical compound which is a by-product of wood processing. It has long been used as a chemical solvent. In the late 1960s, it also became popular as a topical pain relief medication for pulled, strained, and sprained muscles and joints. This product is very pure & concentrated. You may dilute this product with distilled, demineralised or clean filtered water.

 

Suggested Use

This product is intended for use as a solvent only. The choice of the process used in the various applications is the sole responsibility of the user. Always spot test before applying to a large area, & dilute with distilled or demineralised water as required.
